Family, friends, and neighbors came together with their picnics, blankets, and low-back chairs to enjoy the last summer outdoor movie in the park, sponsored by Intelius. The night featured Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and this week the Overlake Service League was the nonprofit organization that the night was dedicated to.

Everyone had a great time at the summer movie this week! Lots of donations were made to Treehouse and Monsters vs. Aliens was a huge hit, everyone loved the movie! Be sure to come to Summer Movies in the Park next week on Tuesday, August 3rd to see Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the charity that evening will be the Boys and Girls Club so be sure to bring school supplies to donate!

On Tuesday, July 13th Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park showed Where the Wild Things Are! We had many contest winners at the beginning of the show who loved their prizes, and the popcorn line was a mile long! All of the Intelius volunteers had a great time and so did the guests! Everyone should definitely make sure to come to Downtown Bellevue Park next Tuesday July 20 where we will be showing Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, everyone is welcome!

Intelius employees went to the Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue to help volunteer and interact with the children. The Boys and Girls Club comes to Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park in Downtown Bellevue Park on August 3rd. They will be accepting donations such as backpacks, school supplies, beach toys, arts and crafts supplies, etc. The movie that will be showing that evening is Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Feel free to stop by, and get ready to have some fun! See you there!

Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park is an event sponsored by Intelius every Tuesday. Each week is dedicated to a different non-profit and donations are graciously accepted. This week was dedicated to the Overlake Service League which accepted things like food and toiletries. Each week before the movie we have pre-movie activities and this week we had a movie trivia challenge! Our volunteers had a great time and so did the guests!

Intelius has partnered with the Intrepid Museum Foundation to contribute $25,000 to its Power of One educational program. Power of One is Intrepid’s eminent speaker series in which prominent members of the community speak to students about their life experiences and how they have used them to reach success or sometimes to simply survive under extremely challenging circumstances.
